For my part-time job, I was tasked to redesign the website for a company called InnerBuddies that tests gut health and analyses microbiomes in our body.
The main problem of the previous website was that there was a lot of information that needed to be on a page, but it was overwhelming for the users. Therefore the first thing I needed to do was create a solution that would present the data in a more pleasing and logical manner.
As the person redesigning, I needed to work with the product owners and people responsible for the data presented, which allowed me not only to learn more about the topic the website was about, but also provided me with advice needed to create better designs.
This project helped me improve my technical skills, including becoming better at using designing products such as Figma, as well as improve my communication skills and become able to translate client's needs into a functioning product.
